JDRF One Walk Recap💙

JDRF One Walk Recap💙

Type one diabetes is an autoimmune disease that one gets diagnosed with if their body stops producing insulin. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been hard at work since 1970 raising money to fund research on the disease. On Saturday November 12th, the Hapi Water team set out to Arlington, TX to sponsor and attend the annual JDRF One Walk. Being a healthy product with zero grams of sugar, we are proud to be type one diabetes friendly.

Check in for the walk began bright and early at 7:30am. The happy participants met with their teams, walked around and socialized, and explored the attractions. We passed out Hapi Water, met new friends, and learned more about type one diabetes. Soon after, the countdown was on and participants began their 5k walk for a world without T1D. We loved cheering on all our new friends and greeting them with a Hapi Water as they crossed the finish line.

"Y'all really brought the enthusiasm, as I saw so many walkers visiting your tent with a Hapi Water in hand! It was an incredible day, and Hapi just made it extra special." - Courtney Garvey, JDRF Market Director.

Thank you to everyone who donates, participates, and supports JDRF. The One Walk was an inspiring and fulfilling experience and we are grateful to have been a part of it. We look forward to growing our partnership with JDRF.
